A New Beginning

Some of my fans have complained about a lack of content. Let me catch everyone back up.

After 6 months at the duplex we moved into our new house. It's been 8 months and we have done a lot of cosmetic changes throughout. We have 5 rooms that need to be painted and another 2 or 3 that might get painted. We also have two completely empty rooms at this time.

We are also expecting a kid in July. Hopefully a majority of our to do list can be taken care of in time.

We've had a total of 3 Minnesota visitors so far. If you are not one of those please schedule your vacation time now. We have no guarantee of a relaxing vacation after July.

Moved in... Now with internet!

Today at approximately 3pm we rejoined with the mothership. We are now part of the internet!

As of Friday last week, my birthday, the woman finished putting things on the wall. We now have art! Which reminds me of a funny story about an art company. I'll summarize. 4 sets of art and counting.. Only paid for one.

My sister has come out of the closet. She's now a nurse... Maybe out of the closet isn't the right expression... Maybe it's Living under a bridge.. Though I thought that was something that only Trolls did. Either way, I now get to bother her for internet information and health advice. Lucky her.

I'd write more and catch everyone up.. But this isn't that kind of forum. You'll have to pick up a phone and call me instead.

House 3 of 4?

The money is down.. If I back out now I'm not sure how much of it I would get back.

The picture to the left is the new place. We move in December 12th. We being myself and the fourth and final roommate who never did make it to the other house.

I guess she was pre-evicted.

I still live in Austin

My job has currently been taking me out of town for the last few weeks. But I'm still alive and things are going well.

The roommate house will be getting smaller very soon. For those that don't know our house has sold and we close in the next few days/weeks. So now I need a place for all my stuff!

The roommate house just can't fit it all. So stay tuned for pictures of the new digs.

I moved my computer recently and I still haven't hooked up the USB cables to scan in pictures. So you'll have to just deal with words.

I saw Borat last weekend. There were a few funny scenes but overall, meah. It was shot in a documentary style, though there's one glaring error that's in the movie that I had trouble with. It ruined it for me.

Had wasabi last night at the local sushi place. For those of you that don't know sushi is just a wasabi transport device. My roommates gave a strong "Ewww" when I dipped the caramel banana desert into the wasabi... Little do they know it made it about 3 times better.

Got an offer on the house finally. If all goes well closing should be within a month. Maybe we'll have two bloggers on this site at that time.

Nerd Rampage

I've included a picture of someone who visited the house. She became all preachy on the flavor of Linux being used here and then she did nothing but quote Simpsons for the remainder of her visit.

I've heard that I missed out on the first snowfall back in Minnesota. But I did see someone all bundled up in 60 degree weather today. Sunny and 60 can be quite unbearable.

Currently two guys and a dog living here at the house. I've renamed the guys Galiant and Goofus. I'm Goofus.
